Who is Yannick Pulver?

I'm a Software Engineer & Photographer from Switzerland. I like to come up with fun personal projects from time to time (like walking every street in my city). Also; I'm very much drawn to the north & cold places.

How did you become inspired by sober living?

Each time I take the bus on a Saturday or Sunday morning to go on an early adventure, I see ridiculous amounts of trash that people threw on the streets during the night. That alone is enough for me to realise that this can't be a healthy life.

What is your favourite sober experience?

Last September I stayed in a mountain hut for the night. I woke up at 1:30am  to embark on a tough hike next to glaciers & in full darkness. I managed to get to the top of it just in time for the sunrise, just by myself. It was one of the best & most rewarding sunrises I've ever seen.

How do you connect with the outdoors?

The outdoors keep me sane. One of the best things that I love to do is to go camping. In my case that is usually on top of a mountain - but it doesn't have to be. Taking just the things you need with you and be surrounded just by the sounds of nature is one of my favourite things.

Where are you heading next?

I'm actually on a trip right now! Exploring the Lofoten Islands in Norway! We have a few thing planned, but mostly we're just taking things day by day.
