Community Feedback

"I was born into a family fueled by addiction and spent my life watching people I care about lose themselves to alcohol." This profound early experience shaped one of our community members’ turbulent relationship with alcohol. Their struggles with binge drinking and anxiety continued through their early adulthood, leading them to a pivotal realisation: alcohol wasn’t making them feel happy or safe. During their first year of university, they decided to quit drinking entirely, and that decision transformed their life.

Since then, Arclett has played a significant role in their journey. "As a young person who gave up drinking in uni, I feel a little bit less alone and ‘normal’." Through Arclett’s stories and community, they have found reassurance in their choices and gained an open-minded perspective on sobriety. They value Arclett for creating "a safe and non-judgmental space," where people are free to explore their relationship with alcohol at their own pace.

Engaging with Arclett’s social media daily, they feel supported by the shared experiences and the platform’s refreshing honesty. "I feel less isolated and alone. I’m learning that there are other people out there like me." The positive reinforcement from the community and the real-life stories continue to encourage them, making sobriety more sustainable and connected to their true self.

Their message is clear: "Life gets so much better when you start being your carefree and vibrant self." With the help of Arclett, they have embraced this journey, finding confidence and joy in sobriety.
